MUDRA (HAND GESTURE, SYMBOL, LOCK): Agni Namaskara Mudra, where one's sense of self-control, discipline, authority and power converge
MUDRA FORMATION: Manipura means ‘palace of jewels’, which are the impressions from past-life accomplishments (not necessarily experiences, but accomplishments), which would be the ‘Good Karma’ impressions upon your subconscious mind. At the level of the navel just below the Solar Plexus, join your fingers at the tips, with fingers pointing straight away from the body and knife-edge of the hands parallel to the floor. Allow a hollow triangular space to form between the palms. As you can see above under ‘Signifies’ it says “Fire element”. In this triangular space is where the fire element is represented. Agni means ‘fire’. Allow with the bija mantra (*above) this mudra breeds fire and motion.

PURPOSE: To define our self-esteem which feeds our intuition and gut instincts. This is the personality that we developed during our youth. It is also known as our "ego" chakra. We use this chakra to help us gain our own personal power and self-love. This chakra also represents our mental understanding of our emotions.
ORGANS: Stomach, small and large intestines, diabetes, pancreas, indigestion, anorexia/bulimia, liver, adrenal glands, arthritis, colon diseases, gallbladder, nervous system, metabolism, muscles, middle spine, spleen, kidney, umbilicus.
RELATES TO: Lack of self esteem, self-image and self-judgment, fear of rejection, over-sensitivity to criticism, fears of others knowing our secrets, inability to make decisions and not trusting our intuition and gut instincts.
